چکیده

Bistable piezoelectric energy harvester (BPEH) can remove mechanical waste, which is expected to realize the self-power supply of wireless sensors. To further improve harvesting efficiency, we designed an improved bistable (IBPEH). The restoring force model composing beam acquired based on fitting experimental data, and nonlinear magnetic obtained by using dipole method. electromechanical coupling dynamics system established Newton’s second law Kirchhoff’s law. Based control variable method, influences excitation frequency amplitude vibration characteristics IBPEH BPEH are compared in simulation analysis. Moreover, correctness theoretical analyses verified experiments. results show that variations number magnets appropriate adjustments their positions broaden operating bandwidth harvester, large-amplitude periodic motion at lower amplitudes. yield a higher voltage than under same conditions. This paper provides basis for optimizing potential well improving electric harvest efficiency device.

A Novel Ropes-Driven Wideband Piezoelectric Vibration Energy Harvester

This paper presents a novel piezoelectric vibration energy harvester (PVEH) in which a high-frequency generating beam (HFGB) is driven by an array of low-frequency driving beams (LFDBs) using ropes. Two mechanisms based on frequency upconversion and multimodal harvesting work together to broaden the frequency bandwidth of the proposed vibration energy harvester (VEH). The experimental results s...

A Bimorph Multi-layer Piezoelectric Vibration Energy Harvester

This paper reports a bimorph piezoelectric vibration energy harvester incorporating multiple PZT layers. The advantage of a multi-layer generator is that it produces a higher power than a single-layer generator having the same total thickness. In addition, a lower voltage is required to polarize a multi-layer generator reducing the risk of breakdown during polarization. Moreover, the optimum re...
